| Born and raised in London, England and working predominantly in oils, Sarah uses her sense of impressions and abstractions to create large landscapes, both rural and urban. An architect, her technique of applying texture to her work, allows her paintings to develop intuitively, mirroring the textures and layers of her surroundings. Her themes of identity, alienation, renewal and possibility are at play. Sarah is currently working on her New England collection since moving to Connecticut in 2015. She has exhibited at Saks Fifth Avenue, The Bendheim Gallery Greenwich, Central St Martin School of Art, is a graduate of Cambridge University and The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Her work is held in private collections in San Francisco, New York, Connecticut, Tel Aviv and London. |
